Designer Ysolda Teague visited with us in the shop on Sunday, bringing a stack of her new pattern book, titled Whimisical Little Knits. We sold every copy, and Ysolda gamely signed them all. Knitting must be a good antidote to writer's cramp.
Please visit us again!One young fan fell in love with "Mousie" --a suitably whimsical project out of the book-- and declared his intention to make seven of the little critters, for seven of his best friends.
Besides being exceptionally cute, Mousie is clearly a tolerant rodent, who doesn't mind being held up by his tail. A slightly more dignified portrait of the amiable fellow is at left.
