School is Cool

It's September so that means new backpacks (knitting bags), pencils (needles), notebooks (project notes), and new classes and skills (and we're not talking math and spelling...well, ok, a little math).

Just like when you were a kid September can still mean Back to School – Knitting School! Helen is offering a slew of classes this fall so there is bound to be something that interests you. Visit our website for details.

Knitting Classes
Learn to knit or learn a new technique. Whatever you want to learn Helen will teach you. These classes are small so that there can be lots of individual attention. $25 per class or $65 if you take three.
September: 9, 16, 23
October: 7, 14, 21
November: 4, 11, 18

Sock Classes
No more flip-flops, no more sandles. Boo! It's time to step into Fall. The good news is it's the perfect season to jump into making socks! Whether it's your first sock, or you want to learn to make two socks at once, or just need help turning the heel (admittedly the scariest part of making a sock), sign up for one of the Sock Classes and you'll be ready to put away the summer shoes and show off your socks! $20 per class
September 18 and 15

Shifting Shapes Shawl Class
This shawl is sort of magic. It starts out as a circle, becomes a hexagon, and end with triangles. When completed it looks like a star. Amazing. This shawl was designed by Helen, and in three classes she'll reveal the tricks to making the Shifting Shapes Shawl. $55 for the three sessions.
September 14, 21, 28

And that's just September!!! More classes for October and November are listed over at freshpurls.com.
