Same Sock Different Yarn

We had such a good time last summer with the Amazing Wrap Race we've decided to embark on another Knit Along. Would you care to join us?

Becky, Sherry, Karen, Helen and Sarah will all be knitting the Harris Tweed Socks by Ali Green. This time it's not a race. Everyone will just be working on the same pattern with different types of yarn to see what works best with the goal of having both socks finished by December 15.

Please knit along with us! The pattern is free on Ravelry. If you decide to join us and need help, stop in on Tuesdays between Noon and 2:00 when Helen and Becky are here and they'll lend a helping hand. Or stop in for a Wednesday night Knit Therapy with Sherry.

Here are the yarns we'll be working with:
Helen: Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sport
Karen: Zitron Trekking Maxima
Sherry: Bashful Fibers's Cashmere Sock (and don't forget about their Nov. 13 trunk show!)
Becky: Zitron's Unisono
Sarah: Sereknity's Shimmer Sock

The yarns are a combination of solids, variegated, striping, and swirling. Can't wait to see how they all come out!
