Knitted/Crocheted Hotel Room

The Hotel Pelirocco in Brighton, England offers theme rooms and one of them is called "Do Knit Disturb" - this room is filled with knitted/crocheted decor.  Kate Jenkins took 11 lbs of yarn and one month to create all the items that fill this room.

Jenkins, began designing knitwear for Marc Jacobs 16 years ago prior to setting up her own business, Cardigan.  She stated that she wants to show people that knitting is stylish, not granny.

The walls are decorated with wallpaper made from photographs of knitting/crochet, while knitted artwork has been hung up for guests to enjoy.

If you are interested in a night at the 'thread and breakfast'?  The room is now available to book - with a time limit of three years - and costs £59 (approximately $91) for a weeknight and £75
(approximately $115) on the weekend.
