On Friday, February 10th, a statue of George M. Cohan located at the corner of Governor & Wickenden Streets. As you can see in the picture he is adorned in hand knits!
The sign reads "Live Better, Knit More" - The Yarn Ninjas - so who is this crafty group and will they strike again? I guess only time will tell - so keep a close watch to see if there are any other sightings of yarn creations!
George Michael Cohan was born in Providence, RI in 1878, known professionally as George M. Cohan, was a major American entertainer, playwright, composer, lyricist, actor, singer, dancer, and producer.
