Christmas in February

There's excitement in the shop when the UPS driver drops off boxes full of luscious new spring yarn. Two boxes from Berroco! What riches lie within?

Inside there are Bonsai, a fabulous bamboo with just a touch of nylon for added shine; Latitude, a cotton/rayon mix that knits to a crepe-like texture; and Pure Pima, a perfect choice for summer tanks and tees in a rainbow of colors. And, we've restocked the Linen Jeans and Seduce shelves with new colors for spring.

Tucked in with all the yarn were some new pattern booklets, including Norah Gaughan vol. 4, and nos. 282 (Latitude), 283 (Seduce and Bonsai), 284 (Comfort) and 285 (Linen Jeans).

At the same time, Artyarns has come through with two new beaded luxury yarns for knitting those pretty-pretties. The picture at top left shows Beaded Mohair & Sequins (silk and mohair), and the one below is Beaded Ensemble & Sequins (silk and cashmere). Expensive, to be sure, but all hand-dyed and absolutely dripping with sequins and beads.

New yarn is arriving all the time. Stop in to admire and perhaps pick up a belated Christmas gift (for yourself!). We're open every day except Monday.
