Noro! Noro! Noro!

Jim Baldini, our representative for Noro Yarn, dropped by on Tuesday to tempt us with all the beautiful Fall colorways. In addition to Silk Garden Light, which we've carried for a while, Karen bought two new DK weight yarns: Maiko, which comes in solid colors; and multicolor Yuzen. Both are spun from a combination of wool, silk and mohair; the solid shades coordinate with the multis, for a host of design possibilities.

In addition to yarn, we ordered some new books. Jenny Watson, who wrote the delightful Designer Mini Knits book, is coming out with Mini Knits Two this Fall. Cornelia Tuttle Hamilton has a new book, too.

We're looking forward to Noro sending us the dazzling color block coat at left as a sample.

Noro has the most spectacular color cards! It's a pleasure just to pore over them. Don't believe us? Here's the proof:

Could you pick just one?
