The half-moon-shaped shawl is called Citron from the Winter 2009 issue of Knitty. The multi-colored bands were knit with Noro Silk Garden, while the intervening lavender stripes, which form ruches naturally thanks to the clever pattern, is by Sereknity Yarns (a New Hampshire based dyer whose stuff we absolutely adore).

ReplyDeleteThanks to Becky for showing Chris the pattern and the yarn when we were in on Friday! It hasn't left his head since it left my needles ;)
Ah I saw Sarah's Citron while she was working on it. It looks so good finished!
ReplyDeleteChristine - Glad he likes the hat! Isn't it a quick, fun knit? Can't wait to see the Henry scarf when you finish that too... ~Becky
