Rising to the challenge

Just a quick note to point our readers to two inspirational blog entries about knitters doing what they can to help relief efforts in Haiti:

Ysolda managed to raise over $24,000 USD through sales of her patterns and books. See her blog entry here.

Even more staggering, Yarn Harlot's appeal on her blog for contributions to Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders) yielded an enormous outpouring of support. Read about it here.

Ravelry continues to sell patterns with the Help for Haiti tag. We don't know if they will be publishing a total, or even if they have a way of calculating the total raised, but undoubtedly it will be very substantial.

You're doing good, knitters. Thank you.
