Knitters offer HELP for HAITI

Just a quick note for everyone who might be wondering how we as knitters can help relieve the people of Haiti through our knitting.

Many of our wonderful designers are offering to donate a percentage of their pattern sales to Haiti relief organizations (in some cases 100%!). Probably the simplest way to participate is to go to Ravelry and search in patterns for the tag "Help for Haiti" (requires login). Each designer has his/her own policy regarding donations, which is spelled out on the page for that pattern.

For example, Karen purchased this gorgeous Ysolda pattern called the Peaks Island Hood for £3, 80% of which will be donated to Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders) for Haiti relief. It makes you feel good about doing something you're tempted to do, anyway!
