Rescue 911!

Ever try to rescue a project that's about to fall in the frog pond? Becky's Spiral Shell wrap was too pretty to rip out but too big to wear. Something went wrong with the sizing on this elegant wrap and rather than draping the wearer's shoulders, it wound up heaped on her shoes. Knitted in the round, there was no way to reduce the the circumference without taking it completely down to the cast-on.

Becky and Sarah put their heads together and came up with a modification that works very well. They created two small darts and covered them with a large, fancy button. The result is actually an improvement over the original and now fits very well.

Some projects are just frogs, and there's nothing to do about it. But every once in a while a frog turns into a prince.

Knitted with a bit more than two skeins of Dream in Color's Classy in color Blue Lagoon.
