What We're Knitting Now!

Becky finished the Twilight Sweater from the Spring 2010 Interweave – in beautiful blues of Rowan’s Kidsilk Haze! She really enjoyed knitting it and had it done in time to wear for the Opening Reception of Rowan’s 30th Anniversary Exhibit currently on display at Slater Mill.

The Pattern used 4 skeins for the main color and 1 for the contrast – and this sweater is so soft! We have the sweater in the window right now, come by and check it out!

Karen just finished knitting the Panache Shawl a free pattern download available on Ravelry.

This was her first true lace project and it seems she is addicted – and is ready to start another lace project. Also, her first time to block a piece.

This was knit
with 2 skeins of Dream in Color’s Starry – great project for someone ready to dive into lace!

Helen is working on the “Dianna” shawl, and will be getting it off the needles very soon – we will post the picture as soon as she is ready to share. She is knitting the shawl with Noro’s Silk Garden Lite!

Last but not to be
outdone - Sherry finished a Deborah Newton Pattern, Aconitum Lace, made with Schulana's Merino Cotton 90 in a pretty turquoise. Pattern is from the Spring 2010 Knitter's Magazine.

If you have a project you want to share with us – send a picture (jpg format) and info about the piece to us and we’ll feature it on the blog!!!!
