It's a Wrap!

The 2010 Amazing Wrap Race is over. Fingers are sore, racers are sleep deprived, but three gorgeous wraps are now displayed in the store.

It came down to who...could...bind...off...fastest. All three racers came to the official "measure in" at 1:00 p.m. with their Everyday Wraps at the required 48". And the seaming, ruffling, and binding off began! The three racers sat at the table in the back, determined to weave in the last end first. At the end mere minutes separated your racers - not bad given that both the Wool Whisperer and Stockinette Southpaw were also working!

The first to finish was the Knitting Ninja. Less than three minutes later the Wool Whisperer wove in her last end, and a couple of minutes after that the Southpaw cried out, "DONE!" All three wraps were finished in less than 12 hours.

It was dramatic, it was fun, and it was a race to the last stitch.

Each racer pulled a name from their buckets after completing their wraps. Congrats to Bernadette, Mari, and Nadia! You are the winners of fabulous prizes!

Congrats, Knitting Ninja! Enjoy the stash yarn.
