Karen posed in front of the shop in her brand new Cables & Lace Tunic knitted in Cascade Rustic (79% wool 21% linen). The color is called "Pebble." The pattern was published in Creative Knitting, January, 2009 issue.
The Rustic yarn is not quite like anything else out there and comes in some wonderful denim-y shades (at right). You can see how nicely it stripes on a big project like this one. The one thing you can't see in the top picture is all the snow on the ground. Providence got about 10 inches of snowfall overnight on Sunday and through the day on Monday. Baby, it's cold out there!
